On April 2, 2026, a delegation from the Japan Education Center of Ming Chuan University (Taiwan), including Director Yen-Kuo Fong, Distinguished Professor Hiroshi Kagawa, and Mr. Hong-Ming Wang, Senior Assistant of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Fukuoka, visited the Tobata Campus of Kyutech. From Kyutech, President Takuo Yasunaga, along with Vice President Tohru Kamiya (for Office of International Strategic Partnerships and Advanced Research Headquarters), attended the meeting and engaged in discussions.
During the visit, the delegation introduced Ming Chuan University’s diverse academic programs, English-taught courses, short-term study abroad programs of one to two weeks, and its educational initiatives in the semiconductor field.
In response, Kyutech presented an overview of its education and research activities. Both sides engaged in active discussions on potential future collaboration, taking into account their respective strengths.
It was confirmed that both institutions will further promote collaboration among faculty members in related fields and work toward the advancement of education and research.
